OK, I was working from home today but still working hard, and working through to 10.30 (with a break from the boys' tea time through to their bedtime) and then back to it. Had a nightmare of character encoding issues for the last couple of days. Started with me trying to fix something in a hurry for a Portugese website we have been doing, and then it has knocked on and knocked on and knocked on into every page with any sort of extended character on it. Not just umlauts and so on, but just pound signs. I hate character encoding.
Spoke to Dad today, his thumbs are back on!
