Blog2014 ≫ Nest thermostat is available in the UK today

Hmm we need a new thermostat1... this replaces the thermostat and the timer it seems. Not sure of the price but their stuff was always looking expensive, we'll see...

UPDATE: It's 180 quid2 that looks like quite a bargain, and that is installed... I think we're getting one of these, just getting the ok from Clare. We do have problems with our existing timer and I know our existing thermostat does not work.

Lightwaverf keep promising heating controls, they've had a partial solution for a while. Still might be able to combine their old TRVs (thermostatic radiator valves) with anything that the Nest thermostat does anyway, just not going the full lightwaverf for heating. Still happy with - and sticking with - them for sockets and lighting.
