What a great place to start our Portsmouth pub crawl with some old friends. I wasn't expecting much as I'd been in this pub after we saw Ricky Gervais that time, but it's an all new place since then. Shining coppers and barrels for sale everywhere you look. They brew their own beer, very nice it was too, and the food is good too.
Two friends Del and Fido were there before me (and slightly perplexed by my unshaven castaway appearance), and more arrived soon after, Andy, Speedy and a surprise guest appearence by Bunsen and his lady (fiancee possibly - is there a stag do in the offing?)
Next time we're in Portsmouth we're definitely going back to this pub.
