When THE MAN was going to shut down BBC 6Music a while ago (gosh is it years ago?) I responded to the consultation document and said "don't shut down 6Music it's ace, why don't you shut down BBC3 instead?". And now they have!
Ironically I have not listened to 6Music for ages, but I watched BBC3 only last week. Uncle (the Nick Helm vehicle) is ace, but it's a rarity on that channel. The good stuff will get picked up elsewhere, and the channel will stay online anyway, just off air.
Next stop Radio 1.
