For starters, dropped my Harmony One1 remote control, and broke it last night. Still, better that I did it and just be cross with myself... It had not worked very well ever, so I don't suppose I'll replace it, but I do need another remote. We have the remote repeater thing so we can watch the HUMAX box upstairs too so we need one upstairs and one downstairs. So I'm just getting a replacement one of these1. Twenty quid, job done.
Then, remembered the MOT is due. Well Clare remembered last week, and then I finally got round to checking today and found it is due RIGHT NOW! So took an emergency day off to sort it out. Needed the lights adjusting and its first spot of welding, on the exhaust. Apart from that they say it is a good car. Sixty five quid, could have been worse. Still all adds up to an unexpectedly expensive day.
