Blog2014 ≫ Round up of the best London pubs

Saving this one for later1, londonist.com2's ten best craft beer pubs in London. So not all strictly real ale (you brew dog) but all sound like the kind of places I'd like to visit. Of course we know The Harp already. Probably won't visit most of these, but you never know we might get back to Kentish Town again one day.

Passing up on a trip to London very soon I think; tomorrow tickets go on sale for The Cure doing a Teenage Cancer Trust gig at The Royal Albert Hall. It's going to be too expensive and too much hassle I think, and not different enough to last time we went. Actually last time there I drove I think, maybe that's why I don't have a glowingly positive memory of it. More hassle these days because last time we went to that number one son was not even born, let alone number two son.

That must have been Suede last time we were at that venue, coincidentally they are playing the day after The Cure. So that would be an amazing couple of gigs, but we've seen them once or twice before, so going to sit this one out. Unless we get some ridiculous reason to go within the next twenty hours or so.

I bet this turns out to be the time that Bernard Butler does rejoin Suede. It is the twentieth anniversary of Dog Man Star. Oh well, I'll survive missing it.
