Weekend was good, despite the weather. We went to Canterbury, I exchanged some christmas presents and took some stuff to the charity shop too, getting back to pre-christmas normal in the house. I exchanged one of mine for some wine, which was nice. Well, got a refund as they didn't have my size in the trousers that Clare bought me, and spent the money on booze. WINNING!
We had lunch in Veg Box Cafe above Canterbury Wholefoods, we always go there, but it is great.
TV is good right now, except that the bad weather seems to have knocked our satellite dish out of alignment. We might have to get a man out to have a look, if the bad weather eventually stops. Hopefully I can get some diagnostics on the humax box though to tell me exactly what is not quite right, I think it'll give a signal strength value and so on. Anyway enjoyed Sherlock and Death Comes To Pemberley and now The Bridge and Father Brown are back. Could have done without The Bridge recapping how the first series ended, as we had mostly forgotten, and that spoils the made locally filmed English language remake of it1, that we have not seen yet...
Speaking of TV, someone has emailed me to say "hi looks like you're doing something I'm doing too, can you help with this TV control". They say I can send json to my Sony TV, so going to give this a try:
