Blog2013 ≫ The Wine Vaults

We ended our night out of our big weekend out at The Wine Vaults on Albert Road. And it was quite good, though a bit too trendy for me these days and a bit too busy. Beer good, wine good also, and lots of interesting little nooks and crannies. I have been before, but only a few times, it was completely new to Clare. We'll go back again, when not quite so knackered from a full day of shopping, and really looking forward to a proper night's sleep in our hotel.

We had more lovely family visiting the following morning, but that was basically the end to our pre-christmas big weekend out. It was very very odd being without the boys for basically twenty four hours, but we just about survived it.

Yeah quite a bit of blogging today! Clare is out visiting a friend, so I'm sat in. Done a little arduino, and tried to get my lightwaverf pir up and running in the downstairs hallway. But it's not working, boo! Going to have to go back to B&Q I think. If I can get a refund on it then I might be able to wangle it into the "spend 50 this week, get a 10 voucher to spend next week" offer, along with the led bulbs that I still need for the playroom...

Just going to watch the last ten minutes of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull1 before Clare gets back. Man alive that is a bad film...

arduino: Microcontroller, hardware prototyping platform, a tiny specialised computer.
