I actually bought one of these1. Have fitted it into the raspberry pi and it's now happily running xbmc again and has indexed all of my content on the NAS. So I can do party shuffle style music playing in the lounge again, controlled by the TV remote or the phone app...
raspberry pi: Credit card sized super cheap computer, awesome.
xbmc: XBox Media Centre, some software that would run on an old xbox or other computer hardware to play movies and music etc. I used to talk about this a lot...
