Didn't make any further progress with the slice of pi/o but I did get the pi cobbler 1. Nice to get it in the high street (well the trading estate) for internet prices. Maplin 2 have more good options too they have quite a good range of raspberry pi peripherals.

While looking for tutorials online I came across this recipe 3 - completely unrelated to what I was looking for, but that's going to happen when all the technology has "pie" related puns in the name.

On a food tip we had a lovely lunch in The Five Bells yesterday. Service was as leisurely as it was the previous time but it is a smashing place and we had a great meal. Whenever I go anywhere like that I just get a bit annoyed that it is not right next to where we live. We can only get there by driving (through the bumpy country lanes - needs a land rover really) but they have a great wine list and an excellent range of real ales, some local. Possibly all local.

Trying to watch this video 4 but finding it too frustrating:

Back to work now, and it is wellbeang week so we got free juice and snack bars on the way in, with more to follow throughout the week.
