Blog2013 ≫ There's a ghost in my house

Aha solved the issue of the bedroom TV power socket turning itself on and off, and it's my fault, not the lightwaverf hardware. It did coincide roughly with me de-authorising one of the remotes. While I was doing this my PIR in the hallway must have been triggered by Clare. This means the socket is now linked to the PIR. I tested it and this is the case. So I can fix it, it's not a ghost, my home network has not been hacked, and its not a hardware failure...

So now I need to de-authorise the PIR from the socket, completely resetting a socket so it is not linked to any remotes. Luckily someone on the forum has the answer:

i don't know about sockets, but with the rest of the stuff... hold till flashes - release... hold till flashes rapidly - release quick press, flashes orange

device empty.
