Blog2013 ≫ Weekend of colds

Everyone has a cold, so a bit of a tiring weekend.

I had my lie-in yesterday morning, that was probably a mistake. Not much of a lie-in as we were planning on going to Canterbury. I'd had a relatively early night even on Friday, but still woke up tired and aching. Was tired and aching all round Canterbury, even getting a lunch in Ask for us all for only 4 (thanks to Tesco rewards vouchers) didn't put much of a spring in my step.

I originally planned to go to the Leas Lift beer festival in the evening, it sounded a really good one. But I was too tired, and aching, and coldy.

This morning I was up first. number two son slept in a bit longer than usualy so not too early, but I'm still not feeling fresh. I've just tried to put him down for his morning nap, but he's not convinced. Today I need to get up in the loft again and look for a bit that is missing from one of the stair gates, and then also try and mow and weed and feed the lawn again. This afternoon we are going to cycle into Hythe so long as the weather is nice. Sort of cycle into Hythe anyway - I will cycle in, Clare will drive in with the boys and Number one son's bike, then we'll go for a walk and ride around Hythe, then I'll cycle back again. Will be nice anyway.
