Blog2013 ≫ Bought my butt pump

Just got me a water butt pump1. Nipped out to B&Q after tea, to save time at the weekend... and THEN just read my email when I got in and I have a "ten pounds off if you spend 50 at B&Q this weekend" message, bah...

The price of this butt pump keeps coming down. Great that it's cheaper now than when I thought of first buying it, but I wonder if there's something up with it. It says on the instructions "store your butt pump somewhere dry", hmm. It's mean to live inside the water butt. Under water. Not somewhere dry. Have I bought the wrong thing?

Not connecting it up now as I think it will be noisy and it's going to be right outside the boys bedroom windows, but I'll have my robot butler automatically watering the garden by the weekend.
