Wife was proper sick on Wednesday, so I had to take the day off. Nice to take a day at home, but a shame to have to use a precious day's holiday. I suspect other people in the same situation might have done a day "working at home" but it's unlikely I could have got any work done.
I took Number one son to nursery in the car, made an early lunch and then walked into Hythe children's centre with number two son to get him weighed. Was a really nice day so nice to be out walking. Fixed my pedometer too, so I counted a good 12,000 steps.
Have been trying to get out walking every lunchtime this week, I will shed my holiday spare tire in no time. Seriously thinking about getting a bike too.
And I haven't even written up the rest of our Center Parcs trip yet. I'm in danger of forgetting the details...
