Blog2013 ≫ Done some gardening this weekend

Our lawn is looking a bit black again. I'm not sure if I'd fed it too much or not enough, but now I've mown it again it looks a bit artificial. It's not too bad though and I'm sure it'll pick up.

Out the back things are looking good, I have planted new chilli and fuschia. I saw fuschia on Gardener's World this week and remember my Granddad always growing them, so I have some trailing and some standing ones in. I picked them as I thought they'd spruce up my dying hanging basket, but then got back from the shop and realised my hanging basket had been stolen while we were away... Why someone would take that and not the nice looking trough we have out the front I don't know. It makes me glad that I did not leave our bay tree out the front, and it also prompted me to remote it from its pot and plant it in the ground, so I have done.

Still watching Glastonbury on TV, there's still not much to catch my attention. Smashing Pumpkins are ok though.
