Work have offered everyone a windsurfing lesson, as the directors are all big windsurfers, so tomorrow it is my turn. Off to a lake somewhere nearby, all equipment provided, I just need some shoes to wear in the water. I don't have spare shoes, so am going to have to sacrifice a pair. "Just get a cheap pair from the supermarket" says Clare, but my regular wear every day pair of sneakers are exactly that. So they're going in the lake, and I have to wear my other pair of shoes every day until I can get to the supermarket again. Or possibly, these ones will surivive.
