A new release 1 from beagleboard.org 2, Beaglebone Black 1 a $45 computer that features the best of both Arduino 3 and Raspberry Pi 4 but seems to outspec them both so far... Discussion on Hacker News says the hdmi output is not good though which is odd as I think it is on the raspberry pi 4.
I have put too much on my raspberry pi 4 right now, it's crashing all the time. All was fine until I put the motion detector on it, so I'll have to uninstall that I think. Might run it on another computer. I'm keen on the idea for home security so maybe I'll have a dedicated device just for recording images and video.
