This is an actual lcd display, 2x16 chars, not a TV. Looks good eh?

BUT, it's not working. I think I must have shorted something out with my soldering, bah. If I wiggle it about then I do get something on the display, but not what I should have according to the code I have written on the arduino. Shame! That's three quid I'll never see again. Unless of course I have also messed up the arduino, in which case it is a bit more... will dismantle this and see if my old magnetic door catch / robot butler still works...
UPDATE: Phew it still works. Time to get a new lcd, or maybe just try all those solder joints one more time...
arduino: Microcontroller, hardware prototyping platform, a tiny specialised computer.
