Blog ≫ 2013 ≫ It would pay for itself in no time

Further to yesterday's post about buying this fire engine¹, and here's how it could pay for itself:

• We could stop paying the window cleaner, window cleaning would be fun with one of these.
• I need to get our gutters cleared, so I either have to pay someone to do it or buy a ladder and do it myself. Not if I had a fire engine!
• I need a loft ladder. Hmm, slightly less practical this one.
• It's probably big enough to use as a spare room for guests.
• I could rescue cats out of trees and fetch frisbees from people's roofs, for a fee. Quite literally (rescue) platform as a service.
