Blog ≫ 2013 ≫ Sick!

I had some weird 24 hour virus, seems to be doing the rounds, all better now though. Lost my appetite, felt sick, tired, raised temperature, the works. Like a mini-flu. So I came home from work early on Tuesday and stayed off Wednesday. All better now and back in work. Clare started to get it Wednesday, only not as bad as me, of course. It is not that she is stronger and just soldiering on at all.

I did some productive things while at home. Not much, but I fitted a strangle proof safety thing 1 to the blinds, HACKED thing one's Thomas the Tank Engine BRIO style railway bridge so the real brio Thomas trains can actually fit under it (it was a cheap copy from Tesco), put our old SKY+ HD box on ebay 2 and... I'm sure there was more, but I can't remember what now. I thought I'd do more reading, but I was properly knackered. I fell asleep on the sofa watching Minder but that's not really so constructive.

Oh yeah I found a local charity 3 who are happy to take my old computer, as the person who said they wanted it has failed to send a courier for it.
