Blog2013 ≫ The chili challenge was a challenge

Who would have guessed that from the name alone? The Chambers Chili Challenge was actually quite hard work. A pickled chilli and a bowl of super hot chilli (made with habanero and scotch bonnet peppers) to be eaten in not less than 15 mins but not more than 30 mins. It made me sweat and shake, my body went into shock like I had been in an accident. But I did it, expect to see me on their "wall of flame".

I did wake in the night with a stomach ache but not the burning bum that everyone jokes about. Today I have felt like I had a rotten hangover and could not eat my lunch, but I'm better now.

I probably won't do the chilli challenge again. You couldn't do it.
