Extended weekend visiting the folks, so we could fit in not one but TWO parties. One a sixtieth birthday and one an eightieth, hey they still count. First to The Hampshire Rose for a surprise party for Auntie Yvonne, my Nan's sister, then down to Gosport for Auntie Sandra's 60th. Both surprises, both really good. Two different sides of the family, so in that one day I got to see just about everyone I am related to.
Clare and I had a bonus night out on the Friday too, more of a bonus for me than for Clare. Once the boys were in bed we headed off to Southwick to try a couple of different pubs. Both The Red Lion and The Golden Lion were great, the second was better though. Good beer and a nice environment.
Whatever Clare says I was not drunk, I only had three pints.
