Blog2013 ≫ We finally went swimming today

We went to the Stour Centre in Ashford. Clare and number two son were meant to come in too, but we couldn't get the right swim nappies for thing two so he and Clare had to sit out. number one son and I had a great time. I wasn't that keen to go today, it had become too much of a mission after our swimming fail yesterday in Canterbury, but once we got in it was great. We went on the flume five times and had a lot of fun.

We got a parking ticket when we got outside, not sure what happened as we had a pay and display ticket that was valid, maybe it had slipped down the dashboard. We have disputed it online, will see what happens. If I didn't hate Ashford before that point, then I'm slightly less of a fan now. Every time I go there I think "I must remember how I hate Ashford, how nothing good ever comes of going there". Ashford is a place to pass through.

After the swimming, both boys were a bit beastly for the rest of the afternoon. number two son was screaming, so number one son had to compete a bit more for attention. Not really a fun afternoon.
