Blog2013 ≫ Air freshener hack!

There's just so much interesting stuff out there at the moment that I'm having trouble staying focussed... Just found this airwick hack1 making a "room node" out of an air freshener that you can find really cheaply... Found that from this article2 which I followed from this article3 about an arduino library that guy had written4 to talk to the lightwaverf hardware... I just started on my own arduino code that I was quite pleased with that just talks to the wifi link, the seventy quid hub that you have to buy and then connect to your router - but this code is way ahead of that, using a three pound transmitter5 he's sending RF signals direct to the switches and sockets. And all of this is free and open. There are so many things to try. Going to get me a transmitter5 and a receiver6 from coolcomponents.co.uk7 and give it a go.

I've got a queue of components waiting to be used, how will I find the time to learn the guitar that I possibly just bought too..?

I still need to fix the landing lights. This explains everything...
