There's just so much interesting stuff out there at the moment that I'm having trouble staying focussed... Just found this airwick hack 1 making a "room node" out of an air freshener that you can find really cheaply... Found that from this article 2 which I followed from this article 3 about an arduino library that guy had written to talk to the lightwaverf hardware... I just started on my own arduino code that I was quite pleased with that just talks to the wifi link, the seventy quid hub that you have to buy and then connect to your router - but this code is way ahead of that, using a three pound transmitter 4 he's sending RF signals direct to the switches and sockets. And all of this is free and open. There are so many things to try. Going to get me a transmitter 4 and a receiver 5 from coolcomponents.co.uk 6 and give it a go.
I've got a queue of components waiting to be used, how will I find the time to learn the guitar that I possibly just bought too..?
I still need to fix the landing lights. This explains everything...
