Blog2013 ≫ A tumble dryer uses a lot of energy doesn't it?

I figured out the sustained spikiness of the graph on pi.clarkeology.com coincides with us turning on the tumble dryer. I know I am addicted to it, every load that comes out of the washer goes straight into the dryer, we don't try to dry anything outside. Partly it's down to the washer being down in the basement, if we had direct access to outdoors from there I might do. But I might not, I am very lazy.
