Blog2012 ≫ Super christmas

Had lots of presents first thing, I got better than I gave this year, but mostly because we did not have time to shop for Clare's present. She's got one "in the wood". Number one son was spoiled absolutely rotten and number two son has done pretty well too. We are holding some presents back until at least tomorrow, and maybe until the new year.

Christmas lunch was great, quite a lot of us split over two tables in the traditional christmas style. We had a few bottles of wine and some nice sherry before eating, but not as much booze as we might have done. I do have a seven week old baby to be responsible for though (as Clare points out).

Clare got one bonus gift this year, a scratchcard that my mum gave us as the gift tags on our gifts paid out 100! Nice one, I have never known a scratchcard win a decent amount like that before. I won a pound myself which I was pretty pleased with, but Clare was over the moon. We had great gifts all round.

Can't believe I am sat in front of Call The Midwife. Not actually watching it, obviously, as I am typing this. Clare wanted to watch it mostly because her hairdresser (Gary from Hythe) says he is in it. He's an extra but possibly has a couple of lines in this one.

I have Fist Of Fun to watch, a present from Clare but can't watch it on the laptop as there is no dvd drive in this one. I will have to crank up the actual DVD player, doesn't get much use these days. I should go to bed and then get up again to feed number two son but I think I'm going to sit up and either watch Fist of Fun or play with my new lightwaverf toys...
