Blog2012 ≫ The boy's christmas play

Took the afternoon off today to go to number one son's christmas play at nursery... he has been practicing songs for it for a while, I was looking forward to it. Come the day, come the hour, I get summoned from my front row seat (we got there very early) by one of the assistants, number one is very upset, doesn't want to wear his costume and just wants his dad. To be honest, that was the best bit of the day for me - shame he was upset, but it's nice to be wanted. I talked him into his shepherd outfit (or what I thought was his), and we were good to go. Number one did not sing a word in the whole thing, he didn't even really crack a smile. His cousin joined in nicely, but number one didn't want to play. I didn't even get any good photos as they both stayed at the back of the stage.

And Number two son has been a pain today too, he slept all day, too much sleep to be normal, and then started bellowing when we wanted to have our tea and then wanted him to go to bed. We are just about muddling through, but it's hard work this having children lark!

I have transferred my website domain to namecheap.com from uksolutions.co.uk (who I have been with for thirteen years) so there may be even more downtime on the website than normal about now.
