It's cold again, the car was covered in ice. Was heading in to work on my own, so I had the time to start the car up in advance and let it thaw out. Clare has taken Number one son to the hospital for a hearing test, as a couple of people at the nursery have said he doesn't seem to respond when they're talking to him, hmm, don't think it is his hearing. It's probably something to do with being super-intelligent, his mind is on much higher things than just "come here" or "do as you're told"...
number two son had a very noisy night's sleep again. The first bit (my shift) was OK, but then he wasn't really wakeful enough to drink much at that next feed. He did OK, but it was very very slow. Then we left him in his own room (all night, for the first time) with just the monitor on, and he groaned and grumbled all night, keeping Clare awake.
I dragged myself in to work today, despite my cold, which is worse. There was no medal there waiting for me, no hero's welcome, no ticker-tape parade, so I have come home again. Done a bit of work from the warm of the sofa, but mostly going to snooze now I think...
