Blog2012 ≫ I have removed most of the old code from the site now

So why am I telling you that? I'm planning to redirect traffic here that is going to an old part of the site. This will stop me getting a load of warnings from the google webmaster tools service. I've got rid of all of the perl / cgi stuff 1 So if you were expecting another page and got this (mostly only if you followed an old link, or you are a dirty spammer trying to post spam messages on the blog) then that's why.

You can probably leave me a message as a reply to this one 2, or on the twitter to @pauly and I'll pick it up 3...

  1. Crikey this feels a long way back now. Everything on the site used to be dynamic, every request to the site would run a script, written in perl, and then send a response back. These days (writing a comment in 2022) everything is static. Generated here on my laptop and then uploaded and everything you get is a static file.
  2. No you can't, not for a long time now.
  3. As of the end of 2022 I can't be sure I'll even pick that up now. Just stand outside and shout and I might hear you.
