Blog2012 ≫ A night of good sleep, following another night of poor sleep

When you're not sleeping well, all you can think about is sleep. Last night I slept great! Probably down to the large glass of wine I bolted right before going to bed. Wednesday night was another bad one however, not Clare snoring this time, just the weather. There was so much rain it must have been causing the gutter to overflow, which meant there was water dripping on to the satellite dish just below the window, which was resonating like a gong. The satellite dish was resonating, not the window.

Hack day at work today, but as we had a special guest in to help with something I worked with them and now can't quite get into the swing of it. Might have a go at something fun this afternoon, but for the rest of the morning I have just been tidying up old code. Important stuff that we don't get the time to do the rest of the week, but not exactly exciting.

The weekend is filling up, going to IKEA for part of it, then there is an NCT sale tomorrow too. Also planning a little trip to Toolstation as I have a valid excuse for once! I need a new screwdriver, I don't have one quite the right size for the LightwaveRF dimmer switch. Then fitting that in the new baby's room, and putting up the tree stencil / mural we got to decorate it. Nice!
