Mum and Dad visiting for the weekend, we ate really well, got the garden sorted and the shed built:
And just so you can see we really did do some work to build it, here it is partly assembled 1.
The walls went up really quickly, they are delivered in mostly complete panels, but the roof and the windows were trickier, so (with lots of breaks) it did take us most of the day to put up.
Had a brilliant lunch at The Black Horse, that's my favourite place to go right now. One quibble though this week, Clare had the raspberry cheesecake and it wasn't rasbperry-y at all. She fed back but I expect will be trying a different pud next time. Main courses and the new starters were great though.
To top the weekend off, I sold my garage door. It's been say on ebay with one bid of 99p for the whole week. That would have been OK, just getting rid of it without me having to transport it anywhere. Then about tea time Sunday a couple of serious bids came in and it's straight up to fifty quid, then in the dying seconds it went for just about a hundred quid. Nice!
The shed is full of junk and spiders already.
