I watched hours and hours of The Isle Of Wight Festival1 over the weekend. Nearly all on fast forward though, it was mostly rubbish. Looks like there were some good bands there but the coverage was very poor again. I must single out Tom Ravenscroft as being particularly rubbish, even when sat next to Jo Whiley he did not look like he knew what he was on about. He sounds quite knowledgeable and authoritative on the radio, but now I know better.
The Cure played Bestival2 last year, maybe that's what I'm thinking of... I'm a bit out of touch aren't I?
