Hmm, we have been suckered in to Alcatraz on one of the lesser cable channels, it is absolutely the new Lost. Mysterious island? Check. Time travel? Check. Hurley out of Lost? Check! Ok it is a real island, but it is inexplicable sci-fi mumbo-jumbo that I feel sure is going to remain unexplained (ah the nature of the inexplicable) long after the series gets cancelled. Why am I watching it? I am a fool! Enjoying it so far though, only three episodes in.
