It's legal to buy¹ and legal to sell¹ but if you want to use this home still¹ to make your own moonshine you need a license, m'kay?

Also someone offering hire of an apple press and crusher², sounds a lot to me really. "A fraction of the cost of buying your own", yeah 3/4 is a fraction, does not make that hire a particularly good deal. Still maybe, if you think you might only use it once. This is why I'm not allowed to buy any kit of my own right now as I'm obviously going to give up this new hobby within a few weeks...
