Clacket Lane are back and are putting on free gig, yes FREE for all you lovely people out there on the 24th of september at the Amphitheatre, Folkestone.
They are one of the most respected bands in Kent following a successful release in 2006 and supporting acts such as, Feeder1, Florence and the Machine, The Feeling, Dizzy Rascal, McFly, Razorlight, The Holloways, Boy Kill Boy, The Guillemotts and many more!!
It will start about 5pm and is set to be an amazing evening in a beautiful location.

This is my website The Folkestone Gerald that I set up in a fury of excitement when I first came to Folkestone sometime in 2004. I had been a frequent visitor for a while before that so I am technically one of those Down From Londons you get nowadays. The site was updated more frequently with a calendar of events and voting for favourite places + things, + I hear it was a useful resource for others who were moving to the area. Now I've moved out of Folkestone again (though only a couple of miles) it doesn't get as much love as it used to. Ironic really as Folkestone itself is now becoming the exciting place we knew it was about to become. My name is not Gerald BTW, the name comes from the name of a pretend paper in an episode of The Day Today or something, the Portsmouth Gerald, and how there is a local paper here called the Folkestone Herald.
