Getting there slowly, still unpacking...

I forget what day this is now, we have been there a week now, woo! Obviously still not straight there, not completely unpacked, but I am getting through a box every other day I think. Plumber coming tomorrow to look at our hammering pipes and see why one hot tap is not working. Then I think I will be rubbing down and painting most of the day, the hallway, maybe one of the loos. Clare is going to do some shopping finding things that we need like a bathroom cabinet and maybe bigger things like curtains. I want to stay local really, very much enjoying pottering when I get a few minutes.

I have deployed my first rails app to the cloud. Any idea what this means, does it make me sound professional? It's good. Even though it's not actually "my" app, it is something I have downloaded, but I have been through the process of publishing some content to the internets in ways that are entirely new to me, using rubyonrails.org1 and github.com2 and heroku.com3 and refinerycms.com4 and aws.amazon.com5.

@kmharris76 reports that Gary Glitter has been seen in the Cuckoo Pint in Fareham, lying low until the local heat dies down I guess.

Have a nice bank holiday weekend all.
