Sitting down for the night now, hopefully we are good to go...
I made time for two trips to town with the boy today, but just about finished off the packing while he napped at lunchtime. Just about finished, not packed the TV and stuff yet, nor the router and associated bits (so I can still be computering now, in front of the telly), nor the kitchen things that we needed for tea, and for breakfast tomorrow... the rest of the flat does not really look that packed up, because it's mostly big bits of furniture that don't get packed into boxes. All the things that are packed into boxes are things that were neatly hidden away in cupboards, so the flat looks far less "ready" than it ever did before we started all this...
Removals people are coming at 0830. We think. Or maybe 0800. We are going to have to get up proper early to be sure I'm not still sat in my pants eating toast when they arrive to start shipping things out.
Spoke to the estate agent, we may get the keys to the new place as early as 1030 but its' more likely midday. I am proper looking forward to this! This time tomorrow I ought to be sat out on the balcony with a vino collapso looking at the sea]]. I suspect the balcony may become like the pool table in this flat, something we make use of only for a short while...
