I said not much happened at the weekend, but I forgot... After our gazumping, on Friday we put in another offer on another house, on the next road up from the last one, and on Saturday a revised offer was accepted. It's with the same agents though so I would not rule out the same things happening. I have not set my heart on this one.
It's basically the same house, they were mirror images of each other when they were new, but this one is unconverted. So three bedrooms, but with garage, utility room and little study, where the other had another big bed and bath.
The vendor wants to exchange in four weeks, we'll see if that happens...
