Leas Cliff Hall sold to Ambassador Theatre Group

FG ≫ 2009 ≫ Leas Cliff Hall sold to Ambassador Theatre Group

Will this make the standard of shows there better or worse?

It says here1... Hmm seems to have been the fairly recent takeover by Live Nation that brought bands of the "standard" of Stereophonics, Kings of Leon, Pete Doherty, David Gray and the Kooks, I wonder if we'll see more musical theatre or something now?

I wonder if the Editors show was booked before or after this takeover/

This is part of my website The Folkestone Gerald that I built in a fury of excitement when I first came to Folkestone in approximately 2004. I had been a frequent visitor for a while previous to that but I am technically one of those DFLs you get nowadays. This site was updated more frequently with a calendar of events + voting for best venues and things, + I hear it was a useful resource for those who were thinking of moving to the area. Now I've moved out of Folkestone again (though just a couple of miles) it doesn't get as much love as it used to. Ironic really as The town is now becoming the exciting place we knew it was just about to. My name is not Gerald by the way, the name comes from a pretend newspaper in an episode of Brasseye or something, the Portsmouth Gerald, + how there is a local newspaper here called the Folkestone Herald. Puns like this are great aren't they? Do contact me if you have something to contribute, email anythign @ this domain, or try @folkestone or @pauly on the twitter.
