Bah only just found out now from a friend at Lone Star Comedy that Richard Herring1 is in Ashford tonight at Rain, the club that has taken over the space of Strawberry Moon's / M20... awaiting the wife giving birth any minute not sure we can go. But you should, it will be excellent.

This is my site The Folkestone Gerald that I set up in a fury of excitement when I first came here in approximately 2004. I had been a frequent visitor for a while previous to that but I am technically one of those Down From Londons you get now. This site was updated more frequently with a calendar of events + voting for favourite venues + things, + I know it was a handy resource for those who were thinking of moving here. Now I've moved out of Folkestone again (though just a couple of miles) it doesn't get as much love as it used to. Ironic really as The town is now becoming the exciting place we knew it was just about to. My name is not Gerald BTW, the name comes from a pretend newspaper in an episode of The Day Today or something, the Portsmouth Gerald, + how there is a local paper here called the Folkestone Herald.
