Didn't get any here - I've seen them before in Canada. When it's really cold the halo effect is produced by ice crystals high in the atmosphere. Not sure whether than can happen in Florida but if you go high enough I guess it's cold enough for ice crystals? They call them "snowdogs" in Canada.
