well i think generally speaking, the victoria trains tend to go from East - that's the line that goes through faversham. still anyway, it's prob much of a muchness until that high speed link goes in. it's a nice train journey as well - some good scenary through the garden of england.

you should definitely get a car.

also just saw your thing about wincheap. there's a reason why it's a bit cheaper (i.e. crap parking and near the thanington estate) and i can assure you, your drive to and from work won't be much fun as the traffic's mad around there. if you want to be near the station, why dont you check out the whitstable road area? e.g.[url=http://www.rightmove.co.uk/viewdetails-9592494.rsp?pa_n=1&tr_t=buy]
