Every week we struggle away at the friendly fun quiz at The Ship Inn in Sandgate, and we hardly ever come away with the top grand prize of a bottle of wine. This week, for a change we tried the Sunday quiz at Saltwood Castle1, seeing as we had Monday off so could really make a night of it. And we took the pot, of 120 quid, nice one!
Not sure whether to head straight back there again, as we do have a habit of doing well in a quiz on the first week and then never living up to that. Maybe next bank holiday...
Rest of the weekend really did rock too.
