Blog2006 ≫ Monkeys on viagra

WEIRD one, got a call about a contract job yesterday, for a big pharmaceutical company nearby. In collecting my details, the agent asked me about animal testing and said "I have to record your response to this, and pass it on to the client"... This spooked me completely. This is an IT job, why ask that? Possibly they have animal testing facilities on site, and just want to warn people, but it sounds more like they're trying to weed out employees who might be disruptive. If you were going to get a job so as to do, say, undercover filming at an animal lab, would you not just lie about it anyway and say you have no problem?

I have asked not to be put forward for the job. So, I'm still looking for work! What do you need doing?

We took the quiz at The Ship Inn by storm on Tuesday, look out regulars, we will be back next week, and we will be winning your wine again.

Off to London again now for an interview. Feeding pills to monkeys would at least have been local...
