Happy Frenchman is reopening

FG ≫ 2006 ≫ Happy Frenchman is reopening

that's all my theories out the window then... From mrgig.com:

The Happy Frenchman is soon to be up and running again under new management!

They will re-open on Thursday 5th October, with bands resuming at the weekend.

Sharon is looking after the bookings and has asked that bands get in touch, (the old gig book was lost so she will be starting from scratch).

Her mobile number is 07913 784550.

Live'N'Kickin will be there on Saturday 7th October so all support will be welcome to get her back on the map with a bang!!

This is my website The Folkestone Gerald that I built in a fury of excitement when we first came to Folkestone in approximately 2004. I'd been a frequent visitor for a while previous to that but I am technically one of those Down From Londons you get nowadays. This site was updated more frequently with a calendar of events and voting for favourite venues + things, + I hear it was a useful resource for those who were moving to the area. Now I've moved out of Folkestone again (though only to Hythe) it doesn't get as much love as it used to. Ironic really as The town is now becoming the exciting place we knew it was just about to. I am not Gerald BTW, the name comes from a pretend newspaper in an episode of Brasseye or something, the Portsmouth Gerald, + how there is a local newspaper here called the Folkestone Herald. Puns like this are great aren't they? Do contact me if you have anything to offer, email anythign @ this domain, or try @folkestone or @pauly on Twitter.
