While I was away I read Dialogues of the Dead1, a book I picked up on the off chance at a car boot sale. It's a Dalziel and Pascoe novel, and I'd not read one before. It was great, really really good, and I'm very pleased that there are so many more in this series. As with the last few TV shows we've watched I did guess whodunnit from a ridiculously early stage, though there are false trails galore, and it didn't ruin my enjoyment.
