naw, youd be right there. We had a couple of the flash G5 workstations at my previous works. Actually we have a couple of hundred at the new place. any way. hardware for them is not cheap, and neither is software. There is a fair bit of open source around for them. Having said that the mac mini you have pictured doesnt really require much upgrading on the hardware site of things, and if you turn of some of the flashy fading effects on the toolbar the gui pootles along at a reasonable rate. Yor mac mini is probably a pritty good by from that point of view. The new intel macs are supposed to be a lot quicker than the power series. although I have to say I still can understand why apple would make something you can dualy boot the competetors OS on.
