Blog2006 ≫ Tiring weekender...

Knackered today, just had a great dinner at The Jackdaw (though with a slight service hiccup](http://www.folkestonegerald.com/m/8128) and now we're spending the afternoon chilling before heading back to Chambers for more beer festival action.

Started the weekend sedately enough, stayed in and watched Narnia1. Friday was also a quiet day, but then we took our first trip to the beer festival. Wasn't too busy, so we could sit down and enjoy it, working through four different beers I think. One of them was an evilly strong "Skull Splitter", maybe that's what made me a little unwell later. Maybe it was that we kept drinking cider when we got back home again. All fine for Saturday though, Emma is visiting from London, we cooked food and headed out to the comedy club at The Lanterns. Alex Horne was very good, as were the other two acts and the compere. Shame we're going to miss the next occurrence, but we'll hopefully be back again in June.

Feeling too fat and lazy to write much really, back later...
