Blog2006 ≫ Ooh yeah I got google chat today

Used the chat client before1, and had it integrated into Trillian2 for a while, but now the powers at google corp have deigned to embed it in my gmail3 page, as announced here4. They're rolling it out slowly so a few more people blog about it each day, clever! It's good, but seems like it might be better as an extension, or just leaving it as a standalone application. The "see who's online" thing is useful integrated into the gmail page though. So now, everyone who uses msn, stop, and just get yourself a gmail3 account. Let me know if you want an invite.

Train from Folkestone to Charing Cross this morning was monster delayed, so got to come into Cannon Street instead. Though it makes me late this is a treat for me, slightly longer journey (so more of a sleep) and a shorter walk, but for Clare it means an all new three quid tube ride across town, and she's still late. She is happy today though I think, I got her flowers, and though the shock nearly killed her I think she was pleased.
