Blog2005 ≫ And two eyes made out of, er, sprouts

Us in the snow today in the in-laws garden, Clare took the picture that's why she's missing... We really did have an amazing amount of snow here in Folkestone, more than I've seen in years. Four or five inches fell overnight, on top of whatever fell in the day before we got back here. Hopefully there's more on the way tonight, as we'll be doing no more driving this holiday.

Decided on a night in tonight, heading pubbing tomorrow and Friday, and then back here Saturday. we were hoping there'd be a quiz at Chambers on New Year's Day, first Sunday of the month and all that, but apparently they did one on Boxing Day. Last year's Christmas Day quiz was superb, with booze a flying, and this years extravaganza on the 26th was no exception. This bodes well for next year when we'll be spending Christmas locally again.
